Drupal Surpasses Jadu as Most Popular CMS Among UK and Irish Councils
Drupal's appeal to councils is on the rise, thanks to its time-saving features and cost-effectiveness that cater to their specific requirements. According to the latest updates from the LocalGov CMS Directory, maintained by Digital Health Check, Drupal has surpassed Jadu as the most popular content management system (CMS) among councils in Ireland and the UK. Annertech further highlighted this trend in a recent blog post.
Out of 410 councils surveyed, 87 are utilizing Drupal for their websites. This trend reflects a shift in the public sector's approach to ICT strategy and procurement, emphasizing shared resources and exemplary citizen services while saving time and money. The decision of which CMS to adopt is significant, impacting an organization for years to come. Conducting thorough research to find a CMS that aligns with an organization's needs and budget is crucial.
