JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Own and manage a complex Drupal 9/10 platform with custom architecture and proprietary modules.
  • Maintain, enhance, and refactor both custom and contributed modules.
  • Design and deliver new business features across transactional, user-centric, and data-driven workflows.
  • Manage Drupal Commerce components including product logic, checkout processes, and payment integrations.
  • Oversee integrations with multiple third-party systems such as external platforms, communication tools, analytics, and logging services.
  • Ensure platform security, dependency management, and compliance-aligned data handling.
  • Optimize performance across backend services, frontend delivery, search infrastructure, and databases.
  • Support production operations through troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and incident resolution.
  • Contribute to technical documentation, architectural standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Play an active role in defining and executing the platform’s multi-year modernization roadmap.

Requirements Must Have

  • 4+ years of hands-on Drupal 8/9/10 experience in production environments.
  • Strong PHP 7/8 skills with solid object-oriented programming knowledge.
  • Proven experience with Drupal Commerce and transactional systems.
  • Experience integrating APIs (REST, webhooks, third-party services).
  • Strong MySQL / MariaDB expertise.
  • Background working with complex, highly integrated digital platforms.
  • Familiarity with cloud environments and CDN-based architectures.
  • Daily use of Git, Composer, Drush, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Professional working proficiency in English.

Nice to Have

  • Redis and/or Varnish.
  • Elasticsearch or Solr.
  • ERP or back-office system integrations.
  • Experience supporting mission-critical or high-traffic platforms.
  • Knowledge of security best practices and data protection standards.
