ADCI Solutions Fixes Inventory Tracking Issue for Online Home Appliances Store

ADCI Solutions addressed a critical inventory tracking issue for an online home appliances store that works with multiple brands and suppliers. The client’s website, which retrieved stock data from suppliers' .xml files, failed to read zero stock values correctly, leading to inaccurate stock display. The underlying problem stemmed from poorly written, custom code that had accumulated inconsistencies over time, especially in handling supplier information and database queries. By correcting the database query logic to match product and supplier identifiers accurately, ADCI Solutions resolved the issue. They also replaced an outdated function responsible for tracking stock changes with a new one compatible with the latest Drupal and PHP versions. Despite a preference for supported modules over custom code, the fixes were made as per the client’s request, ensuring accurate inventory tracking.
