amazee.ai’s AI Provider Module Brings Fast, Open AI to Drupal Sites
amazee.ai has launched a new AI Provider module that connects Drupal 10.2+ sites to enterprise-grade AI models and vector databases in under two minutes, without external dependencies or API configurations.
According to the announcement by Matthew Saunders on the Drupal Starshot blog, the tool is designed to work seamlessly across existing Drupal environments, regardless of hosting provider. It's fully open source, supports region-specific processing (Switzerland, Germany, U.S., Australia), and prioritizes data transparency and sovereignty.
Each installation comes with 30 days of unlimited AI token usage, letting developers build and test features involving large language models and vector databases without hitting quota limits. Those contributing to Drupal AI, maintaining modules, or running trainings can request a free developer account with ongoing access.
The module supports multiple tiers: $30/month for Pro, $100/month for Growth, and custom options for enterprise users. It’s already been tested in live workshops, where participants reportedly built functioning AI features before the first break.
Built in partnership with the Drupal community, the module is hosted publicly and built for collaboration. It supports all major hosting platforms, including Acquia, Pantheon, Platform.sh, and self-hosted stacks—offering a way to integrate AI without giving up infrastructure control.
