Drunomics Celebrates Sinduri Guntupalli’s Women in Drupal Award Win at DrupalCon Vienna 2025
Sinduri Guntupalli’s recognition in the Build category at the Women in Drupal Awards during DrupalCon Europe 2025 marked a proud moment for drunomics. Her path into open source began after moving to Vienna and discovering a passion for coding, eventually leading to five years of meaningful Drupal contribution. This year’s award celebrates her community involvement, event leadership, and commitment to strengthening the ecosystem through grassroots engagement.
At drunomics, Sinduri plays a key role as Product Manager for the Mossbo Cloud CMS Ecosystem, contributing to the project’s regional and international Splash Awards success in 2025. Her blend of technical expertise, organisation, and people-centric leadership has shaped team culture and project momentum. Colleagues describe her as someone who elevates collaboration, fosters support, and advocates fearlessly for community well-being, reflecting the broader values of the Drupal and open source movements.
Her dedication extends beyond drunomics through active involvement in Drupal Austria, Drupal Switzerland, and DrupalCon’s Community Health Track. In interviews, she emphasises that Drupal’s strength comes from continual contributions—code, ideas, and energy—and the spaces where people connect. Joined by fellow 2025 honorees Emma Horrell and Jess (xjm), Sinduri will help shape next year’s awards jury. For drunomics, her achievement underscores a long-standing philosophy: when organisations invest in people and community participation, everyone benefits.
