Varbase Beta Upgrade Adds Accessibility Fixes, ECA Models, and Modern Tooling
Varbase 10.1.0-beta1 has been released, bringing new accessibility enhancements, ECA workflow models, and updated frontend tooling to the popular Drupal distribution by Vardot. The beta release, announced by Rajab Natshah, introduces broad technical upgrades aligned with modern development and accessibility standards.
This release includes significant accessibility updates aligned with WCAG 2.2, making Varbase-built sites more inclusive by default. Several new workflow models powered by the ECA module enhance automation capabilities, including login notifications, role-change alerts, draft reminders, and more.
Frontend and tooling updates include support for Bootstrap 5.3.8, Node.js 20, and Yarn 4.9.3, along with UI stability improvements and performance tweaks. These changes align Varbase with modern theming practices and improve integration with Drupal 11 and beyond.
