Join us in London for the Mautic World Conference

In just a few weeks we will gather in London for the Mautic World Conference, and I would love you to be there with us.

There is something special about bringing our community together in person. You meet the people behind the commits, you hear the stories behind the new features, and you leave with practical ideas you can put to work straight away.

We have a brilliant couple of days lined up. Two tracks of talks and workshops, the Mautic awards, and an evening social, all hosted at Sea Containers thanks to our venue sponsors VML, followed by a community day on Tuesday at nearby Blackfriars Settlement. We will round things off on Tuesday night with a free meetup hosted by our ecosystem partners, emailexpert, complete with traditional British pub food and views of the Thames (already exceeded capacity and we’ve just added some more spaces — booking required!). If you are new to Mautic, you will feel very welcome. If you have been around a while, you will know how energising these events can be.

Tickets for the London event are £149 and include access to the online conference on 6–7 November as well. If travel is a challenge, you can still join us online for the full programme.

We have a great keynote speaker kicking the event off — Gee Ranasinha will be exploring the reasons why modern marketing campaigns are failing to recognise the importance of the emotional and contextual drivers that influence buyer behavior, and how we can ensure that we stand out and be remembered in a world full of automated but generic content and an increasing lack of brand distinctiveness.

After we’ve had a lovely lunch and opportunity to network with attendees and our fabulous sponsors, I will be kicking off the post-lunch keynote with The Mautic Update — our annual ‘State of Mautic’ keynote.

We will take a look at the past year and some exciting news about the future. We’ll also be taking a peek at what is landing in Mautic 7. Here are some highlights:

• A new API v2 built on API Platform to make integrations faster and more robust, and dramatically improve our documentation for developers which will be auto-generated.
• A new feature which allows marketers to organise their Mautic resources by projects so it is easier to find what you need when you need it.
• Our NLNet-funded campaign import/export feature.
• Multilingual support for text messages so you can ship confidently across markets.
• A new slider form field and improvements to the scheduled sending interface that remove friction for busy teams.

By the time we hit Release Candidate, which is due to be released during the community sprint, we will have had well over a thousand contributions from developers, testers and reviewers across the alpha, beta and RC phases. That cadence reflects the health of our contributor community and our shared commitment to quality.

There will also be some exciting announcements and project launches — but let’s not spoil the surprise!

We’re also hosting our famous Community Day on Tuesday, at nearby Blackfriars Settlement. This is a great way to come along and find out how you can give back to Mautic across our five teams — Community, Education, Legal & Finance, Marketing and Product. We’ll have mentors on hand who can help you get started on one of our many ‘good first issue’ tasks. Don’t forget to bring some of your favourite snacks from where you live for the snack table!
