DrupalForge Adds DrupalPod Integration for One-Click Development Environments

Drupal contributors can now launch fully configured development environments directly from DrupalForge.org with the new DrupalPod integration. The feature enables one-click access to a browser-based Drupal setup from any project issue page, eliminating the need for local installation or manual configuration.

Users can start an environment pre-loaded with VS Code, Composer, and Drush, with the correct branch, core version, and module information automatically applied. Session controls through Dev Panel allow pausing, resuming, or extending containers. This setup is designed to save hours when testing patches, fixing bugs, or developing new features.

The integration builds on earlier work by Randy Fay and Ofer Shaal, with most of the new development completed by Darren Oh. Salim Lakhani, Co-Founder of DevPanel, shared the update, highlighting its potential to streamline contribution workflows.
