DICTU Hosts Cooperation Day for GIDD Social Intranet in Zwolle

DICTU will host a cooperation day for its Generic Intranet for Dutch Government (GIDD) on Wednesday, 24 September in Zwolle. Government organisations are invited to discover a ready-to-use, social intranet solution that meets all national standards without the need for a tender process.

Esmeralda Tijhoff, Product Owner at DICTU, notes that GIDD is built on open-source Drupal and fully aligns with the government's corporate identity. The platform provides a flexible and user-friendly environment specifically designed for public-sector collaboration.

The intranet supports employee-initiated blogs and groups, streamlining information sharing across departments or the entire organisation. It also features interactive newsfeeds with commenting capabilities, as well as powerful search tools to locate documents or colleagues in seconds. Attendees will meet representatives of government bodies already using GIDD and learn how these features enhance engagement and productivity.

Customers shape GIDD’s evolution collectively. Through joint prioritisation, open collaboration, and regular consultations, participating organisations decide which functionalities to develop next and how they should look and work.
