DICTU Web Team Wins Two Categories at Splash Awards 2025
DICTU’s Web team claimed two Splash Awards at the 2025 ceremony, winning in both the Government and Tools categories for projects that exemplify effective digital services for public use.
The Generative Basic Website took first place in the Government category. Designed to accelerate the launch of standardized government websites, it uses 34 prebuilt templates to ensure that each site meets accessibility, design, and content guidelines. The first implementation, Dashboard Groningen, went live in September 2025 ahead of a ministerial debate on earthquake policy. The underlying design system is openly available through the NL DesignSystem, enabling various national government agencies to build on shared infrastructure and reduce redundancy.
In the Tools category, the Product Reporting Guide received recognition for its contribution to public service. The application helps citizens report products that violate safety, health, or environmental standards. Built as a headless decision tree, it guides users through regulatory complexity to reach the appropriate reporting authority. Editors can fully configure the system, ensuring accurate and adaptable support for a wide range of product concerns.
Both projects highlight the DICTU Web team’s commitment to scalable, user-focused solutions in the public sector.
