DrupalCon Vienna 2025: Attico Shares Key Insights on AI, Design Systems, and Community Moments
From October 14–17, Attico International joined more than 900 participants from 55 countries at DrupalCon Vienna 2025, contributing to sessions, sharing insights, and soaking up the latest trends in Drupal innovation, AI, and design systems.
Team members Hanna Haurylenka, Volha Tsiamliak, and Aliaksei Lyzo highlighted a shift in focus at this year’s conference—fewer purely technical sessions and more on AI, business applications, and frontend design. Attico’s session with partner K&C, presenting Nestlé Nutrition’s scalable multibrand design system, was a standout. Other key moments included live AI agents creating forms from sketches and interacting with presenters in real time, as well as deep dives into AI-powered content workflows.
The team praised the event's smooth organisation, responsive audiences, and thoughtful programming around mental health. Talks on burnout, emotional resilience, and leadership offered a human touch amid the tech-heavy agenda. Sessions like “Drupal as a First Design System Native CMS” and the Editor Showcase Q&A resonated strongly, reinforcing the importance of bridging technical and editorial experiences in modern Drupal builds.
Reflecting on the trip, Attico emphasised how DrupalCon continues to be a place for knowledge exchange, community connection, and showcasing innovations that shape real-world digital experiences. Their growing in-house expertise, combined with cross-disciplinary collaboration, reinforces Drupal’s role not just as a CMS, but as a full digital experience platform.
