Drupal Launches Community Survey to Shape AI Roadmap

Drupal Launches Community Survey to Shape AI Roadmap

The Drupal community is being called on to help shape the future of artificial intelligence within the platform. A new survey is now open, inviting input from end-user organizations, digital agencies, and consultants to inform Drupal’s AI development roadmap.

This is a key opportunity to influence which AI capabilities Drupal invests in next. The survey focuses on identifying the most valuable use cases, as well as understanding the barriers that may be slowing AI adoption across different sectors.

Christoph Breidert, who is leading the initiative, encouraged wide participation:

“We are seeking input from stakeholders at end user organisations of Drupal, digital agencies and consultants to provide feedback on the AI agents we plan to incorporate into our development roadmap. Make sure your views are considered, help shape the future of AI, take part in the survey today.”

The survey asks participants to share which AI features matter most to their work and what challenges they face in implementing them. Responses will help Drupal align its AI priorities with real-world needs across the community.

Survey results will be published on Drupal.org in anonymized form. Contact information will be used only for purposes directly related to the survey. Those who want to be notified when results are available can subscribe to the Drupal newsletter or follow Drupal on LinkedIn.

This is a unique opportunity to guide the future direction of AI in Drupal based on direct community input.

The announcement was shared by Paul Johnson. Take the survey here.
