A Microsites Platform is a unique microsite system which reuses many features from the primary LocalGov Drupal CMS. Microsites give councils unlimited freedom to control their websites. It also allows web development teams to create multiple, distinct websites that are easily updated and maintained. Once the microsite system is set up, a new site can be configured in moments. Each microsite has its own distinct users, content, files and domain.

The Microsites platform is an excellent problem solving, making it easy for councils to ensure the seamless functionality of websites. The centralized control feature of it saves lots of time as it uses a single code and database. Content is spread across unique pages, media, taxonomy terms and menus for each microsite that helps the content team to work on multiple microsites.
