Enhancements included group registrations, audience-specific email templates, default capacities by event type, and event date locking—all tailored to the museum’s diverse programming across multiple locations and visitor types.
Instead of isolating their work, Liip contributed these features upstream. Their developer became a co-maintainer, helping integrate several improvements into the module’s latest releases. This case highlights the long-term benefits of aligning with Drupal’s open-source model through strategic collaboration and community contribution.
