ANU Launches Drupal 10 Platform to Power Science and Medicine Websites

Group of students

The Web Services team at the Australian National University’s College of Science and Medicine has introduced a new Drupal 10 platform aimed at streamlining content management and improving usability for school and institute websites.

The updated platform offers a wide range of pre-designed templates to help non-technical staff manage and publish content across various page types. Emphasizing ease of use, the system features intuitive editing tools and a responsive interface that works across all devices. With Drupal 10 at its core, the platform benefits from improved performance, caching, and mobile optimization.

Beyond technical functionality, the system aligns with ANU’s branding standards and web style guidelines. It meets WCAG 2.1 Levels A, AA, and AAA for accessibility, supporting inclusive digital experiences for all users. The rollout reflects the College’s broader strategy to modernize its web presence while maintaining professional consistency across its academic units.
