Drupal Turns 25 and Calls on Community to Share 25 Words of Celebration

To celebrate Drupal’s 25th anniversary on January 15, the Drupal Association has launched a community-wide invitation to share “25 words for Drupal” between January 8 and 15. The goal is to mark the occasion with a wave of reflections, memories, and thoughts across social platforms.

Participants can post their 25 words in any format text, graphic, or handwritten image on their social network of choice. The key requirement is to use the hashtag #Drupal25Words so that the Drupal Association and others in the community can find and amplify their message. Additional hashtags like #Drupal25, #CelebrateDrupal, and #Drupal are welcome, and users are encouraged to tag the Drupal Association directly.

The campaign is open to anyone who has been impacted by Drupal and wants to express their connection to the platform as it reaches this major milestone. To support creative participation, the Association has published a set of visual assets that anyone can use to accompany their post. The Drupal Association says it hopes this anniversary will highlight the diversity and longevity of the global community that continues to build with and support the Drupal project.

Note: The vision of this web portal is to help promote news and stories around the Drupal community and promote and celebrate the people and organizations in the community. We strive to create and distribute our content based on these content policy.
