Council Insight Webinar to Showcase AI Tool for LocalGov UX at LocalGov Drupal Week
David Bishop, founder of Digital Journey Coach, will present the full story behind the Council Insight project at LocalGov Drupal Week on Tuesday, November 18, 2025. He will be joined by Lydia Bishop for a 45-minute webinar, starting at 12:00 noon. The session is free and open to anyone interested in improving digital services in local government.
Council Insight began earlier this year after the LocalGov Drupal Camp in April. In the months since, Bishop has built an AI-powered review tool to evaluate how effectively council websites support residents in completing common online tasks. The system has assessed around 400 local authority websites across 12 key user journeys, including applying for school meals and reporting missed bins.
The goal is to support local authority content designers and improve the overall user experience of public-facing services. The platform currently processes over 4,000 journey reviews each month.
During the webinar, the team will cover:

- How councils can access and use the service
- Practical ways AI can assist content teams in day-to-day work
