DrupalCamp Italy 2025 Opens Call for Speakers
DrupalCamp Italy 2025 has announced its call for speakers ahead of the November 14 event at Sapienza University of Rome, marking the return of the Italian Drupal community to live, face-to-face gatherings.
The conference seeks presentations covering Drupal 10/11 development, migrations from Drupal 7, artificial intelligence integration with Drupal, and innovative solutions addressing performance, accessibility, and security challenges. Speakers are also encouraged to share case studies and experiences from their work with the content management system.
Both seasoned experts and newcomers to the Drupal ecosystem are welcome to submit proposals through the official registration form. Sessions may be presented in either English or Italian, accommodating the international nature of the community while maintaining accessibility for local Italian developers.
The event emerged from collaboration between companies and professionals passionate about Drupal who sought to recreate physical networking opportunities for the Italian community. Several organizers previously managed the six editions of DrupalDay, bringing years of experience in delivering quality events for Italian Drupal practitioners.
"After years of virtual events and online meetings, we felt the need to return to the origins: people who meet, share experiences and create authentic connections,"
organizers stated, emphasizing the event's focus on community building and knowledge sharing.
Speaker registration follows a structured timeline with the call for papers closing on October 10, 2025. Selected speakers will be notified by October 15, with confirmation required by October 20. The final conference schedule will be published on October 25, 2025.
The organizers position DrupalCamp Italy 2025 as more than a traditional conference, describing it as "a moment of celebration of our community" and "an opportunity to learn from the best minds in the sector and to build the future of Drupal in Italy together."
