DrupalCamp Burkina Faso 2026 Scheduled for April in Ouagadougou
The 2026 edition of DrupalCamp Burkina Faso has been officially confirmed and will take place from April 24 at 09:00 GMT to April 25 at 16:00 GMT. The hybrid-format event will be held both online and in person in Ouagadougou, bringing together developers, digital professionals, and institutional stakeholders to promote the use of Drupal across Burkina Faso and the broader African region.
Organized with the goal of advancing digital transformation, the event aims to showcase Drupal as a powerful, open-source content management system suited to the continent's unique technological and institutional challenges. It will serve as a platform to advocate for Drupal’s role in supporting digital sovereignty, enhancing local developer skills, and introducing new digital markets across Africa.
DrupalCamp will also highlight Drupal’s flexibility and security in creating scalable digital solutions, including institutional portals and customized applications. Organizers view the camp as a strategic opportunity to engage government bodies, NGOs, and private companies in adopting open-source technologies.
The event was announced by Seferiba Salif Soulama, a local Drupal advocate and active contributor to the digital ecosystem in Burkina Faso.
The call for content will run from October 1 to December 1, 2025, while participant registration opens November 1, 2025, and closes April 20, 2026.
