Voting Closes November 21 for 2025 Event Organizer Working Group Elections

The Drupal Event Organizer Working Group has opened voting for its 2025 board elections, with five candidates competing for three available positions on the core leadership team.

The nominees for this year’s election are;

Voters are asked to select up to three of these individuals. The voting period will remain open until Friday, November 21, after which the results will be announced.

According to the election notice, all votes are confidential and will be accessible only to current EOWG board members. Participants are strongly encouraged to review each nominee’s candidacy comment and their Drupal.org user profile before casting a ballot.

Candidates who are not elected will be invited to join the Event Organizer Working Group advisory board. While advisory board members will not hold voting rights, they will continue to support the group’s work through active participation in planning and community discussion. This approach aims to ensure that all committed contributors have a continued role in shaping event strategy and organizational development within the Drupal ecosystem.
