Moving forward, Drupal 11 will mandate PHP 8.3, with older versions no longer supported. The minimum database requirements include MySQL 8.0, MariaDB 10.6, PostgreSQL 16, and SQLite 3.45. Composer 2.7.0 or newer will be essential, aligning with a security fix in February 2024.

The browser policy remains consistent, as Drupal has already dropped support for outdated versions. Expect dependencies on Symfony 7, PHPUnit 10, and jQuery 4, as efforts are underway to update to these versions. Drupal 10 will continue to receive support until mid-late 2026, bridging the transition to Drupal 12.
