DDEV Foundation Appoints Stas Zhuk as New Maintainer

Randy Fay, the lead maintainer of DDEV, welcomed Stas Zhuk as the newest addition to the DDEV maintenance team on October 24, 2023. With all privileges conferred, Stas Zhuk embarks on the onboarding process to manage tests, code maintenance, and contributions adeptly. The DDEV Foundation's decision to support Stas part-time underscores the community's pivotal role in driving the project's sustainability. Stas Zhuk's entrance coincides with Randy Fay's anticipated absence, ensuring seamless project support during his upcoming travel.

Stas Zhuk, hailing from Kremenchuk, Ukraine, brings a wealth of programming experience to his new role as a DDEV maintainer. His journey in software development, ranging from Pascal and Delphi to his current specialization in Laravel, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and AWS, positions him well for the stewardship of DDEV.

Embracing GNU/Linux as his operating system of choice, Stas Zhuk's enthusiasm for detail and innovation promises to infuse fresh perspectives and valuable contributions into the DDEV ecosystem.
