BCT Partners Enhances DevOps Efficiency for AHEAD.HIV.gov Project
BCT Partners, a consulting firm focused on mission-driven projects, was engaged in the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services’ AHEAD.HIV.gov initiative, which involved creating a Drupal-based public health dashboard. The firm faced significant challenges in establishing secure development, staging, and production environments on AWS. After months of manual efforts, two engineers were struggling to achieve a reliable system setup, highlighting a critical bottleneck in the project.
To address these challenges, BCT Partners utilized DevPanel during a concise 17-minute demonstration. This platform enabled them to provision the entire stack, incorporating pre-hardened security templates, Git-integrated CI/CD processes, and automated deployments. The immediate adoption of DevPanel resulted in a dramatic reduction in deployment timelines by 95%, significantly mitigating risks associated with the deployment process.
The transformation facilitated by DevPanel allowed BCT Partners to streamline their workflow, turning a previously cumbersome process into a repeatable and secure operation. This shift not only improved efficiency but also provided on-demand DevOps support, ensuring that the AHEAD.HIV.gov project could meet its mission-critical objectives effectively.
