San Francisco International Airport (SFO) recently underwent a comprehensive website redesign to enhance user experience and functionality. SFO partnered with Kanopi Studios to modernize their outdated site and create a more engaging, flexible, easy-to-update platform.
The project focused on improving site navigation, integrating revenue-generating content, and reflecting the Bay Area's spirit and culture. This effort resulted in a site with simplified admin interfaces, personalized dashboards for users, and location-based content personalization, all powered by the latest Drupal capabilities.
The redesign has led to a more responsive layout, improved user experience, and increased visibility for vendors and airport activities, ultimately providing travelers with a more robust and efficient site experience. The project has won 4 W3 Awards and 2 Davey Awards so far.
