HSG MBA Website Revamped by Amazee Labs with Decoupled Drupal
The University of St.Gallen's (HSG) Master in Business Administration (MBA) program recently revamped its website to provide prospective students with an enhanced user experience. Designed for young professionals aiming to advance their careers in the DACH region, the new site underscores HSG MBA's commitment to innovation and performance. A case study on the project was published recently on drupal.org
Leveraging Drupal's robust capabilities, the relaunch adopted a decoupled architecture using ReactJS and Gatsby. This approach allowed the team to retain the existing Drupal backend and its contents, minimizing editorial disruption while implementing a fresh and modern frontend. Enhancements included updates to navigation, user guidance, and the integration of new features aligned with a contemporary design.
Key technical achievements involved configuring the GraphQL module to enable seamless communication between the backend and the new frontend. This transition improved system performance, security, and scalability, streamlined the developer workflow, and boosted overall site reliability. Amazee Labs spearheaded the project.
With a durable and future-proof platform now in place, the mba.unisg.ch site sets a benchmark for digital transformation in education.
