Start with Drupal and AI: A Hands-On Workshop at DrupalCon Vienna
AI is reshaping digital experiences, and DrupalCon Vienna 2025 offers developers a unique chance to learn hands-on how to bring that power into their Drupal sites.
In this interactive workshop, Christoph Breidert (1xINTERNET) and Frederik Wouters (Dropsolid) will guide developers and site builders through setting up the Drupal AI module, exploring its built-in features, and constructing working examples including content generation, PDF summarization, and automated workflows. The session also dives into more advanced techniques such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and creating custom AI agents — giving attendees a foundation to continue experimenting after the workshop. Designed for beginners, no previous AI or machine learning background is required, yet participants will leave with practical, usable AI integrations.
Taking place on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, from 10:30 to 12:15 in Session Room 2.43, this hands-on workshop is part of the official DrupalCon Vienna program.
