Qaack Session on Ephemeral Environments in Madrid – 24 Sep 2025
The Asociación Española de Drupal will host an event on Sept. 24, 2025, at 19:00 CEST, at Medialab Matadero, Paseo de la Chopera 14, 28045 Madrid, Spain.
The session, titled "How to build ephemeral environments to speed up day-to-day life with Qaack," will be presented by Francisco (Curro) Sánchez López, DevOps Engineer at 1xINTERNET.
The talk focuses on Qaack (Quality Assurance Acknowledgement), a Web Environment Manager (WEM) developed from day-to-day work with Drupal. The tool enables creation of complete Drupal environments for quality checks on feature branches, with integrations for platforms such as GitLab and GitHub.
According to Sánchez López, Qaack streamlines reviews by automatically spinning up ephemeral environments when commits are pushed. Links to those environments and their test results appear in merge or pull request comments, keeping access simple for the entire team.
The system also supports project managers and clients, who can verify changes in temporary environments before merging to the main branch. Validators benefit as well, with Qaack running Playwright tests and providing Lighthouse metrics automatically.
During the session, Sánchez López will demonstrate Qaack features with live, practical examples.
