SeaGL 2025: Seattle’s Free Software Conference Returns This Fall
The Seattle GNU/Linux Conference (SeaGL) is set to return on November 7–8, 2025, at the University of Washington and online. Now in its 13th year, SeaGL remains a free and open grassroots event dedicated to promoting free/libre/open-source software, hardware, and culture.
Attend for Free—No Registration Required
SeaGL is open to all, from tech professionals to newcomers, with no registration necessary—just show up and explore a lineup of talks, discussions, and networking opportunities.
Volunteer and Contribute
As a fully volunteer-run event, SeaGL is looking for contributors to help organize and support various aspects of the conference, including programming, outreach, technical operations, and attendee experience.
Speaking and Sponsorship Opportunities
The conference welcomes both first-time and experienced speakers, particularly those offering fresh perspectives in tech. The Call for Proposals (CFP) opens in May. Additionally, organizations interested in sponsorship or exhibiting can apply for a limited number of spaces. For more details on participation, follow this link.
