Drupal.org Gets a Makeover with New Fonts

Drupal.org gets new font

Drupal.org has refreshed its website with new fonts, transitioning from the previous fonts, Ubuntu and Ubuntu Sans, to ZT Gatha and Noto Sans. This update improves both the visual appeal and usability of the platform, reflecting the ongoing effort to modernize Drupal.org’s design and user experience.

The previous fonts, Ubuntu -300 (for heading) and Ubuntu Sans (for body text), have been replaced. ZT Gatha, now used for headings, offers a sleek and contemporary design with a lightweight appearance, giving the titles a refined yet prominent look. This change enhances the visibility of key content while maintaining a professional aesthetic.

For body text, Drupal.org has adopted Noto Sans, known for its high readability and neutral style. Replacing Ubuntu Sans, Noto Sans provides a smoother reading experience for users, making the dense technical content easier to digest across various screen sizes.
