GovCMS Mega Meetup 2023: Unveiling the Future of Web Development and Technical Platforms

Salsa Digital is gearing up for the GovCMS Mega Meetup scheduled for November 22, 2023. Hosted by GovCMS, the Mega Meetup will focus on upcoming innovative and technical enhancements planned for the GovCMS platform.

The event, running from 9.30 am to 3.30 pm, will feature various engaging activities, including breakout sessions that delve into insights and learnings regarding the Drupal 10 upgrade, the future directions of GovCMS, the use of the Drupal Services Panel, and a Women in IT panel.

Attendees can also look forward to keynote presentations by the Australian Cyber Security Centre (ACSC) and Pia Andrews, highlighting digital government infrastructure. Moreover, the GovCMS Mega Meetup Awards will recognize noteworthy contributions.

Salsa's participation in this event is significant, as they will be presenting on CivicTheme during the GovCMS Future Directions stream. Akhil Bhandari and Alex Skrypynk will discuss CivicTheme's role in GovCMS websites, emphasizing its attributes as an open-source, WCAG-compliant, and technology-agnostic design system, UI kit, and Drupal theme. This presentation will provide valuable insights for the audience and foster a deeper understanding of the capabilities and applications of CivicTheme. This community-focused event will explore Drupal's role in both the private and public sectors, enhancing knowledge sharing and collaboration within the Drupal community.
