Launch of Climate Migration Data Portal by QED42 and IOM

During the recent COP28 (28th United Nations Climate Change Conference) summit in Dubai, the International Organization for Migration (IOM) took center stage, showcasing a data-driven solution designed by QED42 to address the pressing issue of climate change-induced human migration. This collaborative effort produced an interactive data visualization portal, the Climate Mobility Impacts dashboard, aimed at enabling international organizations to gain insights into future climate hazard exposure, population densities, and economic vulnerabilities. The portal leverages extensive datasets and advanced analytics to provide a foundation for evidence-based decision-making, ensuring targeted support for vulnerable populations. The project, characterized by strong collaboration and agile methodologies, has successfully delivered a scalable solution within tight deadlines.
