Skvare Builds Unified Drupal-CiviCRM Platform for Salvation Army Echelon Chapters

man-holding-bell

Skvare developed a centralised Drupal website for Salvation Army Echelon to manage multiple chapters under a single platform with chapter-level autonomy and consistent branding.

Originally founded in Dallas, Echelon expanded nationally and required a platform to unify chapters while maintaining individual site control. Skvare implemented CiviCRM features including CiviEvent and CiviDiscount, enabling chapter-specific membership tracking, event registration, volunteer scheduling, and communications. The website replaced multiple third-party tools previously used across chapters and reduced administrative overhead.

Permissions were configured using Access Control Lists to ensure that chapter administrators could only access and edit local data. A custom workflow using CiviCRM Webform integration allows members to receive discounts during event registration without requiring login credentials. Standardised reports display only local chapter data while using shared queries. The site is hosted and maintained by Skvare. The original article was published by Skvare.
