DrupalSouth 2026 Wellington Extends Call for Papers Deadline to 6 February
The deadline for Call for Papers submissions to DrupalSouth 2026 Wellington has been extended to . The conference, scheduled from to at the Harbourside Function Venue, Wellington, invites proposals from contributors across the Drupal ecosystem to share their insights and experiences.
Submissions are welcomed from speakers of all experience levels and backgrounds, with a strong emphasis on inclusion. Proposals will be reviewed by volunteer Track Leads who bring domain expertise across topic areas. Selection will be based on the proposal’s clarity, relevance, and the presenter's readiness. First-time presenters are especially encouraged, with an intimate classroom-style room available for confidence-building and idea testing.
Accepted sessions will receive one complimentary ticket to the event. Talks may be co-presented, and additional speakers are eligible for discounted rates. Track Leads will help presenters select the format that suits their content. Formats include:
- Lightning Talk: 15 minutes (including 5 minutes of Q&A)
- Standard Session: 30 minutes (including 5 minutes of Q&A)
- Extended Session: 45 minutes (including 5 minutes of Q&A)
This extension gives prospective speakers more time to finalise ideas or polish submissions. DrupalSouth organisers are seeking sessions that reflect the community's diversity and applications—from practical implementations to high-level digital strategy.
