Frontend developer Boris Herrmann attended DrupalCamp Ruhr 2025 in Essen, Germany, and found two days of insightful sessions and strong community energy that left him inspired and motivated.

With over 70 participants, the event featured two keynotes and more than two dozen sessions focused on theming, accessibility, CMS comparisons, and AI integration in Drupal workflows. Highlights included component-based theming with Single-Directory Components, workflows for translating Figma designs into themes, and advanced accessibility solutions using semantic HTML and keyboard navigation.
