DrupalCamp Brasil 2025 Launches Mobile App Ahead of Florianópolis Event
Organizers of DrupalCamp Brasil have released a new mobile app ahead of their upcoming event on November 8, 2025, in Florianópolis, Brazil. The app offers attendees a mobile-first way to access schedules, speakers, and session details, and is available on both iOS and Android.
Built with Drupal serving as the API-first backend, the app demonstrates how Drupal can power mobile apps as well as websites. The development team reported a rapid build cycle, crediting Drupal’s flexibility and headless architecture for the quick turnaround.
The project was a collaboration between Mobitronica and Zoocha, combining development and UX design to deliver an event-ready user experience.
Drupal + Flutter Distribution in the Works
Following the launch, the team announced work on a Drupal + Flutter distribution that would allow other DrupalCamps and similar events to spin up their own mobile apps with minimal setup. The goal is to lower technical barriers and encourage reuse across the open-source community.
The app is part of a broader shift in the Drupal ecosystem toward multi-platform delivery, reflecting Drupal’s growing role in headless and decoupled applications.
