Stanford WebCamp 2026 Announces Hybrid Format with Free Public Access

Stanford WebCamp 2026 will return April 30–May 1 as a hybrid, community-led event exploring web design, accessibility, content strategy, and open-source platforms—free and open to the public.

The two-day program begins Thursday with virtual beginner-friendly sessions, followed by advanced in-person talks on Friday at Stanford University (venue TBA). Sessions will be recorded, though Friday's content will not be livestreamed.

WebCamp will span topics including Drupal, WordPress, UX design, frontend and backend development, content strategy, project management, accessibility, and DEIB (diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging). The event is especially relevant to the higher ed community but welcomes all participants regardless of background or skill level.

April 30 (Thursday): Virtual sessions
May 1 (Friday): In-person sessions (no livestream)
Free and open to the public

Call for Proposals opens: February 13, 2026
Proposal deadline: April 3, 2026
