NEDA Meeting on August 29 to Discuss Drupal Federation Draft Model

The Network of European Drupal Associations (NEDA) will hold an open meeting on August 29 from 14:00 to 15:30 CEST to discuss the draft business model for the proposed Drupal International Federation. The discussion will take place on NEDA's Jitsi channel and is open to all community members.

The draft model, developed by the International Federation Working Group, aims to establish a federated structure where local Drupal associations collaborate under a shared international nonprofit. The proposal outlines membership requirements, responsibilities, and joint programs covering governance, events, branding, certification, and fundraising. Its goal is to balance local independence with global coordination to strengthen the Drupal ecosystem.

Community input is being actively sought to refine the model before it is presented at the upcoming meeting. The working group emphasizes the importance of feedback to ensure the framework reflects the diverse needs of Drupal associations worldwide.
