Splash Awards Germany & Austria 2025 Submission Deadline Approaching on August 15

The Splash Awards Germany & Austria 2025 will be held on October 15, 2025, at the Palais Wertheim in Vienna, marking the first time the event is hosted in Austria. Organized jointly by the German and Austrian Drupal communities, the awards recognize outstanding digital projects built with Drupal and will take place as an official side event of DrupalCon Vienna.

Now in its eighth year, the Splash Awards Germany & Austria are the largest in Europe, attracting over 100 participants annually. Companies and agencies from both countries are invited to submit their best Drupal-based projects by August 15, 2025. Submissions for the national awards can also be entered into the International Splash Awards 2025, which are returning for the first time since 2019. The 2025 edition introduces several changes. A newly relaunched website, developed with Bitmade Solutions GmbH and the volunteer organizing team, now serves as the hub for information and entries. The event’s relocation to Austria is another first, offering participants the chance to celebrate alongside the Drupal community during the DrupalCon Vienna Community Party.

Unlike past years, there will be no separate Drupal Business Day in 2025. Instead, the Splash Awards are integrated into the DrupalCon Vienna schedule, giving attendees access to a full three-day conference in addition to the awards ceremony.
