Rajendhar Mamidala Reflects on AI and Open Source Themes at Drupal Mumbai Meetup
The latest Drupal Mumbai Meetup brought together developers, technologists, and open-source advocates for a vibrant session focused on artificial intelligence, headless architecture, and collaborative growth. Held at QED42, 91 Springboard, Vikhroli, the event featured strong participation from the local tech community.
Rajendhar Mamidala, Founder of Techiebears Pvt. Ltd., described the meetup as “an incredible experience filled with learning, networking, and inspiration.” He noted that the event was not limited to Drupal but served as a broader platform for AI awareness, open-source innovation, and career development.
One of the key moments was a talk by Rachit Gupta on the Bharath AI Mission. The initiative aims to make AI open-source and accessible, extend AI education beyond metropolitan areas, and encourage meaningful contributions from across India to the global AI space.
The technical lineup included two in-depth sessions. Vishnu Sharma from Techiebears presented a guide on headless Drupal with a focus on integrating React. Ashish Dalvi followed with a session that clarified how large language models and retrieval-augmented generation work in practice.
Speakers also addressed career guidance and personality development, highlighting the event’s focus on professional growth alongside technical learning. Mamidala credited Kiran Kadam and Ravikant M. for their ongoing work in keeping the meetups relevant and inclusive.
