Drupal Uruguay Meetup 2025: Connect, Learn, and Collaborate

The Drupal community in Uruguay is organising an informal meetup on Thursday, August 7, from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM (GMT-3) in Montevideo. The event invites Drupal users, developers, and community members from Montevideo and nearby regions to connect, exchange ideas, and discuss developments within the Drupal ecosystem.

The agenda includes an introductory session on the purpose of the meetup and how attendees can get involved in future activities. Participants will also receive updates on recent Drupal releases, modules, and community trends. A dedicated segment will address the Drupal Points System, providing clarity on how contributions are recognised and how local community members have been participating in global Drupal initiatives.

Attendees are encouraged to bring logo proposals for Drupal Uruguay, as a vote will be held during the meetup to select a new visual identity for the local group. Planning for future meetings will also be part of the evening, with an open discussion to gather suggestions on themes, formats, and collaborative opportunities.

The meetup aims to foster connections, share practical knowledge, and build momentum for local Drupal collaboration in a casual and welcoming setting.
