Drupal Brisbane April Meetup Set to Connect Local and Online Community
The Drupal Brisbane April meetup is scheduled for April 23, 2024, at the Brisbane Square Library and will also be accessible online. The monthly event, organized by Vladimir Roudakov, will run from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM Brisbane time. Attendees can participate either in person in Room 1.3 on the second floor, Brisbane Square Library or virtually through the provided video link.
"New format of the Brisbane meetup is here: it is now a contribution event (both face to face and online)."
noted Vladimir.
This session offers an opportunity for Drupal enthusiasts to connect and discuss current trends and challenges in the platform. Participants are encouraged to suggest or present topics, with a focus this month on enhancing the Media Library, integrating flexible display options for Remote Videos, and discussing the impact of Chrome's deprecation of third-party cookies.
The event will open with a traditional greeting in the language of the Turrbal and Yuggera people, acknowledging the original custodians of the land. The meeting aims to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange among the Drupal community, both locally and globally.
Sponsored by Tomato Elephant Studio, a Brisbane-based consultancy known for its focus on Drupal solutions, the meetup encourages active participation from the community. Interested individuals can contribute to discussions or volunteer as presenters for future events. Further details and registration can be accessed through the Drupal community's events page.
