DrupalFit Challenge Vienna Edition Opens Ahead of DrupalCon 2025
DrupalFit has announced the Vienna Edition of its DrupalFit Challenge, a contest running in the lead-up to DrupalCon Vienna 2025. Participants can submit their websites until October 6, with winners to be revealed live at the conference on October 16.
The contest is open to developers, designers, and Drupal community members. To take part, participants need to follow three steps:
- Submit their website link using the official entry form.
- Receive a DrupalFit audit of the submitted site.
- Wait for the shortlist of top-performing websites to be announced.
The site with the strongest overall audit results will be awarded a prize during DrupalCon Vienna 2025.
DrupalFit is a platform used to audit websites across four key areas: performance, security, accessibility, and search engine optimization. For the contest, it will be applied to measure how well submitted websites perform on these criteria.
The initiative reflects a growing focus within the Drupal community on building websites that are fast, secure, accessible, and optimized for search engines. By encouraging participants to test their own projects, the contest highlights both best practices and common gaps in website quality.
Winners will be recognized at DrupalCon Vienna 2025, one of the largest annual gatherings for the global Drupal community. The conference will serve as the stage for celebrating the strongest website implementations and sharing lessons from the contest results.
