Mansoor Aziz Launches Free Drupal Tutorial Platform: DrupalZone

Drupal developer Mansoor Aziz has announced the launch of DrupalZone, a free learning platform dedicated to helping developers, designers, and learners master Drupal. The site offers tutorials for all skill levels, from beginners to experienced site builders, covering topics such as content architecture, theme customisation, and module development.

Mansoor explained that he personally leads the project alongside junior developer Ahmad Aziz, with additional support from a small team for design and maintenance.

When asked about strategies for keeping beginners engaged while still providing value for advanced users, he pointed out that his focus is on keeping the learning curve manageable while offering depth for pros:

"To make learning engaging from beginner to pro, I start each tutorial with a simple example and carry it through every step. This ensures clarity at each stage—learners can easily see what they’ve achieved and what’s coming next. I’ve also implemented offline tracking: when a user views a topic, it’s marked as ‘checked’ and stored in their browser cache. This helps them remember what they’ve already covered."

Addressing what makes DrupalZone stand out in a crowded learning space, Mansoor highlighted the emphasis on accessible, complete learning resources:

"Among my competitors, I focus on providing complete learning source code in the simplest way possible—and the best part is, it’s completely free. Weekly, I choose a specific tutorial topic and cover every part of it in a user-friendly lesson. I also integrate custom AI tools to make lessons more engaging, automatically detect and fix code errors, and ensure content accuracy before publishing. Each tutorial is thoroughly tested before it goes live."
