daisyUI and Tailwind CSS Integration Streamlines Drupal Theming

Drupal developers can now integrate daisyUI and Tailwind into Drupal sites without additional build tools, thanks to a new integration announced by frontend developer Pravesh Poonia. The integration automatically saves the selected daisyUI theme in local storage, preserving each user’s theme preference across sessions.

daisyUI delivers more than 35 ready-to-use themes, including Light, Dark, Emerald, Cupcake and Synthwave, and exposes them alongside Tailwind CSS and Bootstrap 5 directly within Drupal’s Appearance settings. Site builders gain immediate access to pre-styled components, such as buttons, cards, alerts, and navbars, without writing extra code.

Rapid theme switching supports both fast prototyping and production environments, letting teams focus on user experience instead of complex configuration. Developers and designers benefit from a modern, mobile-friendly UI that adapts seamlessly to changing design requirements.
