Working closely with the members of the small yet effective IT team, you’ll play a key role in fulfilling the requirements of the Foundation and its large community of open-source developers.

Job Responsibilities:

• Redevelop new Drupal 9 sites based on existing Drupal 7 websites
• Improve the quality of Drupal development on assigned projects
• Collaborate with the rest of the development team to solve problems and make things better
• Implement automated testing methodologies and best practices

Qualifications:

• Experience with Drupal and/or complex PHP projects
• 3+ year experience in web development
• Knowledge of JavaScript, ideally with ES6, React and Node.js
• You have a proven history of writing great code and completing complex projects with a high level of quality
• Familiarity with CSS preprocessors like SASS and LESS
• Experience with GitHub, GitLab, or other collaborative code forges

Bonus Skills:

• Experience designing RESTful APIs
• Experience with Bootstrap
• Experience with microservices architecture and the ability to implement microservices
• Experience configuring web servers in a Linux environment

Work Skills:

• Self-starter, ability to work with a great sense of autonomy within a geographically distributed team
• Being detail-oriented with great communication and collaboration skills
• Flexible and able to deal with frequently shifting priorities
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
• A positive attitude and eagerness to learn
