Free “Drupal in a Day” Workshop at DrupalCon Chicago 2026 Opens Doors for Students
A free hands-on Drupal workshop aimed at students and aspiring developers will be held on 26 March 2026 as part of DrupalCon Chicago, taking place from 23–26 March at the Hilton Chicago.
The “Drupal in a Day” session is designed for university and college students as well as anyone curious about web development offering a beginner-friendly introduction to Drupal’s core features and the open-source ecosystem. Presented by Acquia, the workshop will guide participants through site building fundamentals using one of the world’s leading content management systems.
Attendees will learn essential concepts such as content modeling, layout building, and site customization, all in a supportive, no-cost environment. The event emphasizes accessibility, making it an ideal entry point for students from diverse academic backgrounds including computer science, design, media, and business.
