Dripyard Prepares Premium Themes for Drupal Canvas Ahead of Stable Release
Dripyard has released version 1.0.5 of its premium Drupal themes, featuring updates specifically designed to enhance compatibility with Drupal Canvas, the platform’s forthcoming next-generation page builder.
Canvas is designed to bring modern drag-and-drop editing to Drupal, rivalling tools like Gutenberg, Webflow, and AEM—while integrating deeply with Drupal’s content modelling system. As part of early adoption efforts, Dripyard has made technical enhancements to its theme offerings and submitted more than 20 issues to help stabilize the module.
According to Mike Herchel, the updated themes introduce new components, fix critical bugs, and address both minor and major compatibility concerns. These improvements aim to ensure Dripyard’s themes are Canvas-ready from the day the module reaches stability.
In addition to the release, Dripyard will host a live webinar once Canvas becomes stable. The session will include a demo, integration walkthrough, and insights into component-based theming with Canvas. Mike Herchel will also present “The Future of Drupal Theming: AI, Drupal Canvas, and Beyond” at New England DrupalCamp, focusing on future-proofing theming workflows.
