ONLYOFFICE Docs Connector v9.0.4 Introduces Native PDF Form Editing in Drupal

ONLYOFFICE Docs Connector v9.0.4 Brings Native PDF Form Editing to Drupal

ComponentSource has announced the release of ONLYOFFICE Docs Enterprise Edition with Drupal Connector v9.0.4, introducing native PDF form editing capabilities directly within the Drupal content management system.

The update enables administrators and content teams to make live edits to PDF forms—including field changes, layout adjustments, and template updates—directly within Drupal. Edits are saved to the original document, eliminating the need to re-upload files or rely on external PDF editors. This streamlines workflows and minimizes version control issues for organizations managing form-based content inside Drupal.

ONLYOFFICE Docs Enterprise Edition already supports collaborative, browser-based editing of a wide range of document types. Integrated with Drupal’s Media module, it enables real-time co-editing of formats such as DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, PDF, ODT, and ODS, ensuring full OOXML compatibility and seamless team collaboration within the CMS environment.

Version 9.0.4 extends these features by enabling direct PDF form editing within Drupal’s interface. This enhancement benefits teams that rely on dynamic forms — such as applications, surveys, or compliance documents — by making updates faster, more accurate, and fully traceable without leaving Drupal.

The connector also supports role-based collaboration, custom branding, and real-time document synchronization. By consolidating document management and editing workflows inside Drupal, the update enhances usability and control across enterprise, government, and education deployments.
