CrownPeak's Open-Source DQM Module for Drupal, Built by FirstSpirit Team
Crownpeak has released a new open-source Digital Quality Management (DQM) module for Drupal, developed by the team behind FirstSpirit, its enterprise CMS platform. The module brings accessibility, SEO, and content quality checks directly into the Drupal admin interface, enabling content authors to run real-time scans before publication.
FirstSpirit, now part of Crownpeak, has supported enterprise digital governance across thousands of websites globally. This Drupal module extends that functionality into the open-source CMS ecosystem. It integrates directly with Drupal’s interface, checking rendered markup against existing DQM rulesets without requiring external logins or exports.
The module is intended for both existing DQM customers and new users needing scalable content compliance within Drupal. It helps identify WCAG violations, enforce brand and editorial standards, and catch SEO issues early. The module is fully MIT-licensed and available now on GitHub.
