BADCamp 2025 Announces Accepted Sessions as Speaker Proposal Deadline Nears
Bay Area Drupal Camp (BADCamp) returns to Oakland on September 25–26, 2025, bringing together developers, marketers, content strategists, and tech enthusiasts from across the globe for two days of expert-led sessions and community collaboration. Hosted at Oakstop (1721 Broadway), the event remains free to attend, continuing its 16-year tradition of accessibility and inclusion.
The first round of accepted talks is now public, including a featured session by André Angelantoni, founder of PerformantLabs.com. His presentation, “Kickstart Cypress or Playwright Testing with Automated Testing Kit,” will show attendees how to accelerate testing on Drupal sites using powerful automated tools.
The call for session proposals is open through July 30, 2025 (Pacific Time). Organizers invite submissions across a broad range of tracks, including AI, content strategy, development, DevOps, design, leadership, and site building. This year’s program also welcomes talks loosely related to Drupal, such as emerging front-end frameworks and content management trends shaped by AI.
BADCamp encourages both seasoned and first-time speakers to participate. Mentoring resources, a dedicated Slack support channel (#session-help), and diversity workshops are available to guide applicants through the submission process.
Session topics of particular interest include innovations in Drupal 11, Single Directory Components, Recipes, Automatic Updates, and the Project Browser initiative.
Proposals must adhere to BADCamp’s Code of Conduct and require a Drupal.org account for speaker attribution.
